Charles Manson
Charles Manson was born on November 12, 1934 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Manson's mother was a 16 year old prostitute and alcoholic who sold Manson for a pitch of beer to a woman who wanted kids. Manson's uncle found the woman and took Charles back. When Manson was young he began to do some small crimes and was sent to prison many times. Soon many years after this, Manson had a group of followers who he brainwashed. Manson was their leader and told them to kill specific people.
Manson is famous because of all the murders he has told his followers to do. Manson tells his followers to specifically kill a certain person. Manson sent his followers to kill actress Sharon Tate who was pregnant. The woman who killed her had no pity which makes this very sad. There is no words to express how wrongful this was for them to do. Manson's followers also killed four other people at the director, Roman Polanski's home. Manson and his followers are now in prison for life. Even though Manson committed no murder he is still guilty for being the leader and the reason these innocent people were murdered.
This sad , true story shows that it is not good at all to follow people. Be your own leader instead of being told what to do, its always the right choice because if you follow a bad person then you will always fail like they fail and its not a good thing to do, if you follow a good inspirational person who motivates you to make right choices then that's a good thing. Do what you think is right now what other people think. Being yourself and your own leader is the best thing because for example Manson's followers are also now in prison for doing what Manson assigned them to do and so is Manson since he was the cause. Being a follower to a bad leader is never the right path you want to take. "The woman who follows the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd. The woman who walks alone is likely to find herself in places no one has ever been before" - Albert Einstein
